Bred by Doug Beacham, Beaujolais 75 is a 2009 Hanoverian gelding by Bugatti Hilltop and out of Conflora (Contucci). Emily acquired Beaujolais 75, affectionately known as "Bunny", in March of 2013 as an un-broke three year old. She broke and started him under-saddle in the spring of 2013 and he began competing in 2014. Because Bunny loves to jump and gallop, Emily competed him in horse trials while also continuing to develop him as a dressage horse. In 2015 Bunny qualified for the USEA's American Eventing Championships at Novice, the USDF's Regional 1 GAIG's at Training level, and the CBLM Championships at Training and First Level. He was the 2015 CBLM Training Level Finals Champion with a 77.9% and placed 3rd in the First Level Finals. He also placed 4th at the 2015 Region 1 GAIG/USDF Finals at Training Level. In 2016 Bunny placed 6th place with a 70.3% at the 2016 GAIG/USDF Region 1 Second Level Open Championship Finals in Williamston, NC and earned a wildcard to attend the US Dressage Finals in Lexington, KY.
